The science. The main scientific direction of the department: "the state of internal organs in newborns with perinatal pathology in the period of adaptation." On this topic for 2018-2019, 15 articles, 36 theses were published. A total of 2 doctoral and 10 Ph.D. theses are defended in these areas. On the scientific direction of the department there is a scientific work with the students of the magistracy. Also, the department is working with gifted students. It includes the conduct of experiments, the publication of scientific articles and terms in medical journals of the Republic and near abroad, participation in interuniversity Olympiads, as well as participation in scientific conferences.
