The department of master’s degree at the Tashkent pediatric medical institute has been opened in 2000  year. The first head of the department was professor Fayziev Hamid Nishanovich. 15 residents had been accepted  on three specialities of master’s degree department

In 2001-2002 educational year 33 residents were accepted on 4 specialties.

From 2002 to 2005 the head of the master’s degree department was senior lecturer Nosirov Abdusattar Ahadovich. In the same educational year 61 residents were accepted   on 8 specialities.

In 2003-2004 educational year 55 residents were accepted on 9 specialties.

In 2004-2005 educational year 92 residents were accepted on14 specialties.

In November, 2005 senior lecturer Agzamov Anvar Mirafzalovich has been appointed as a head of the department of master’s degree. In the same educational year 152 residents were accepted on 21-specialities.

In 2006-2007 educational year 131 residents were accepted on 21 specialties.

In 2007-2008 educational year 136 residents were accepted on 22 specialties.

In 2008-2008 educational year 94 residents were accepted on 22 specialties.

In 2009-2010 educational year 102 residents were accepted on 22 specialties.

In 2010-2011 educational year 124 residents were accepted on 23 specialties.

In 2011-2012 educational year 151 residents were accepted on 21 specialties.

In 2012-2013 educational year 151 residents were accepted on 24 specialties.

From 2013 to 2014 the head of the department was senior lecturer Khaitov Kakhramon Najmiddinovich.

In 2013-2014 educational year 151 residents were accepted on 24 specialties.

From 2014 to 2016 the head of the department was senior lecturer Valiev Abdusamad Razzakovich.

In 2014-2015 educational year 151 residents were accepted on 24 specialties.

In 2015-2016 educational year 151 residents were accepted on 24 specialties.

From 2014 to present the head of the department is senior lecturer Rakhmatullaev Akmal Abadbekovich.

In 2016-2017 educational year 151 residents were accepted on 24 specialties.

Till present days more than 1200 residents graduated and held master`s degree (MD).
