Department  is organized on the basis of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of 12.07.1999 № 342 "On admission to higher educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the 1999 - 2000 school year", The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 15.07.1999 № 282 and the order of the rector of Tashkent  Pediatric Medical Institute  from 15.09.1999 № 172 Department headed by a dean, appointed by  order of the Rector of the university.

At present the department "of Higher Nursing" are trained 146 students for 3 courses.
