The General surgery department of TashPMI created in 1972 on the base of Department of surgery 17 – regional hospital. The chief was nominated by doctor of medicine, assistant of professor A.S.SAIDKHANOV (1934-2011). In 1997 after reorganization in scale of the institute, General surgery department was included in Department of Surgical diseases TashPMI, but subject on the General surgery is sent Pediatric surgery Department-1. In september 2000 formed of General surgery course (chief of the course assistant of professor Abdumajidov A.Sh.) but in connection with mix of the subject on "General care of surgical patient" August 30 2002 order 157 are newly created Department of General surgery. Chief on the department was nominated assistant of professor Abdumajidov A.Sh. At present since 2012 the chief of department are doctor medicine, assistant of professor Ilhamov F.A. (Foto-001)
