Emergency obstetric care
Protection of motherhood and childhood, improvement and development of obstetric and gynecological care, reduction of maternal, perinatal and infant morbidity and mortality in modern conditions are priority directions of the health system of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Midwives are a real potential to meet the needs of women for effective medical care. They have an important role in the implementation of the National Model for Maternal and Child Health, the preservation and restoration of reproductive health of the female part of the population. With the aim of further improving obstetrical education and increasing the effectiveness of clinical practice From October 10 to October 20, 2017, on the basis of the training simulator and training center of RС of OG , a training seminar "Emergency obstetric care" was held to train nurses with higher education in the specialty "Obstetrics" . The training course was organized and conducted with the support of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). The staff of our department took an active part in organizing and conducting the seminar.
