about the visit of the participants of the Tempus project UZHELTH in Nitra, Slovak Republic (22-30 September, 2015)
In the current meeting in the framework of the Tempus project UZHELTH included representatives of the ministries of agriculture and health (Samarkand), as well as representatives of the Tashkent Pediatric medical Institute, Andijan state medical Institute, Samarkand state medical Institute, Bukhara state University Tashkent agrarian University, Nukus branch of the Tashkent Agrarian University and the Nukus state University. From European partners was attended by representatives of the University of Pisa (Italy), Porto University (Portugal), Ghent University (Belgium) and the Agricultural University of Nitra (Slovakia).
Participants from Tashkent pediatric medical Institute:
1. Ashirbaev Sh.P – Director of the Innovation Center of Tashkent pediatric medical Institute;
2. Vikhrov I.P – a leading specialist of the Innovation Center of Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute, Higher Education reform Expert of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education and the National Erasmus+ Office.
This study trip is the last mobility in the European universities partners and provided an interim assessment of the project UZHELTH and learning experience of the University of Nitra in the field of agriculture and nutrition security in the context of public health.
Project participants had the opportunity to visit a number of facilities of the University of Nitra and to see research-and-production complexes in the field of agriculture, viticulture and horse breeding. Also been shown research and teaching laboratories, which are used in scientific and educational activities of the University.
Overall, the trip was fruitful and the participants expressed their satisfaction with the progress of the project and discussed the next steps of its work.
