TashPMI expands international cooperation

In order to expand cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Tatarstan in the scientific-technical and trade-economic spheres, the parties are actively working on the implementation of joint projects, including the health sector.

 

So, within the framework of development of international mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of healthcare, the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan including the rector of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute, MD, Professor Daminov B.T., Rector of the Tashkent Medical Academy, MD, prof. Tuychiev L.N., head of the International Relations Department of TashPMI Nurkhodzhaev S.N. and the head of the department of international relations of TMA Israilov J.D. visited the Republic of Tatarstan.

 

During the visit, the prospects for implementing joint projects in healthcare were discussed, higher medical educational institutions were visited to study the educational process and international academic experience.

 

In addition, the delegation was acquainted with the production of medical simulators of the company «Eidos-Medicine» LLC, the practical work of the simulation center at the «Regional Engineering Center of Medical Simulators “Center for Medical Science”» and the Educational Center for High Medical Technologies - AMTEC KAZAN.

According to the program of the visit, the rectors of the two leading medical universities in Uzbekistan met with the Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan, Adel Vafin, where they discussed the development of strategic partnership and cooperation in the field of healthcare.

 

Also, the delegation from Uzbekistan held a number of bilateral meetings with the leaders of the leading higher medical educational institutions (KSMA-affiliated branch of the Russian State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the Kazan State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, and the Kazan Federal University).

 

Meetings and negotiations allowed discussing the prospects and opportunities for joint exchange programs and internships for specialists and students, the implementation of short-term and long-term projects; conducting joint scientific research in various fields of medicine aimed at improving the quality of life of the population; development of scientific and methodological materials, organization and conduct of joint scientific and practical conferences, seminars, trainings in order to increase the scientific, practical and intellectual potential of the professors-teachers and researchers.

 

This visit is of great practical importance for the successful implementation and coordination of joint projects in the field of healthcare, drawing up of curricula and programs corresponding to international standards for the training of highly qualified personnel, raising the level of professors and teachers and further training of students of domestic medical universities.
