At the initiative of active youth from the "Youth Union " of Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute in the university created "Society of Youth Volunteers of Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute."
To date, on the initiative of the President of our Republic, all conditions have been created in Uzbekistan and legal frameworks have been developed to support and ensure the effectiveness of volunteer activities, in order to maintain close contacts and dialogue between social workers and the people, to find solutions to medical and social problems that disturb the socially vulnerable population (disabled people, veterans of war and labor, single citizens of old age).
The Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan PP-3775 "On additional measures to improve the quality of education in higher educational institutions and ensure their active participation in the large-scale reforms being implemented in the country" of June 5, 2018 outlines the tasks of organizing systematic work to expand participation and increase the initiative of higher education institutions educational institutions in large-scale reforms conducted in the country.
In this connection, on the initiative of the active youth of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute, a meeting was held between the leadership, faculty, young scientists of the Institute and representatives of the Red Crescent Society of Uzbekistan.
The event was attended by the pro-rector for work with youth TashPMI M.Ahmedova, the head of the department of clinical residency D.T. Ashurov, the Scientific Secretary of TashPMI S.Ruziev, the head of the marketing department B.JU.Ulliev, the leader of the primary organization of the "Youth Union "AA Nasirov, Press Secretary of TashPMI Kh.A.Abidov, specialist of the Tashkent city administration of the Red Crescent Society of Uzbekistan and executive director of the Department of the Yunusabad region of the Red Crescent Society of Uzbekistan.
The main goal of this meeting was the implementation of the idea put forward to create the "Society of Volunteer Youth of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute", the definition of its goals and objectives, and more detailed information on the role, degree of development of the volunteer movement in the world and in our country.
In addition, students and young people put forward their practical recommendations on the areas of activity, rights, powers and obligations of volunteers, as well as on issues of social support for other segments of the population defined in the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Volunteer Movement".
It is envisaged that the activity of this movement will be included in the program of summer production practice of students.
The project creates conditions for increasing the experience and communication skills for future doctors, forming feelings of sympathy and empathy for the doctors, and introducing measures to protect the vulnerable segment of the population provided by the state.
The event was held in the spirit of lively discussions and constructive dialogue, and on its results, the participants of the event made additions to the plan of measures for the implementation of this project.
In turn, the administration of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute supported this initiative and expressed readiness to provide practical assistance in its implementation.
It should be noted that the faculty, young scientists, clinical residents and students of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute expressed their desire to take part in this process.
