Admission to the bachelor's program of TashPMI is over: the results of the Admission Committee

July 15, 2018 at 18:00 the work of the admission committee in the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute ended, which began on June 15.

July 15, 2018 was the last day, when the entrants could finally decide on the choice of profession and submit documents to the admission committee.

The final results of the number of applications submitted will be summed up a few days ago, but it is known that only about 1,500 new entrants (34% of the total number of those who submitted documents) were added in the last few days and submitted 4428 applications.

The most popular educational area is the "Pediatric case", with 2778 applications, or 62%. On the "Medical Faculty" - 816, or 18%, on the "Medical and Pedagogical Faculty" - 217, or 5%.

The least number of documents was submitted to the Faculty of "Higher Nursing" - 311, or 7% and "Medical and Biological Faculty" - 306, or 7%.

In TashPMI, the average competition for applications was 9 people per seat. The documents were submitted to 475 places by 4,428 entrants.

All the necessary conditions were created for the effective work of the admission committee, timely and high-quality reception of documents, and the applicants were given recommendations. In the institution of higher education, in order to provide youth with detailed information about the directions of education, various banners, posters, information kiosks and visual aids on the history and activities of the institute have been installed. On a special stand you can get acquainted with legislative acts on higher education, admission quotas, additional information for entrants. There were also organized outlets and service points, as well as a medical office.

The commission included experienced professors and teachers of the Institute. During the admissions campaign, applicants and their parents received timely answers to their questions. In order to improve the quality and speed of receiving documents, modern information technologies and other capacities were applied.
