Research Grant in Japan
The Japan Foundation Matsume International has announced a competition for a research grant in Japan in the natural sciences, engineering and medicine.
The competition is open to researchers up to 49 years old with a doctor’s degree (PhD or equivalent) who are fluent in English or Japanese.
The grant is for the year from April 2020 to March 2021, where payments will cover the cost of airfare and medical insurance.
In addition, the grant holders will receive a monthly stipend of 220,000 yen ($ 2,000).
The deadline for applications is July 31, 2019.
