Nanotechnology in Medicine

On December 19 the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute was visited by Professor Nigora Turaeva from Webster University (USA). On this day, Professor Turaeva held a seminar on "Nanotechnology in Medicine", in which took part teachers and students of the Institute.

During the seminar the participants learned about the history of nanotechnology and its applications. In particular, given information about components of the structures of nanotechnology use in medicine and pharmacology.

Conducted in an interactive format, the seminar caused a great interest of the TPMI students and teachers. The participants suggested to hold a new seminar on the introduction of nanotechnology and information-communication technologies in medicine in the future.
