On February 5, 2019, a leading specialist from the Republic of Belarus visited the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute.

In particular, the department of Traumatology, Orthopedics, Pediatric Traumatology with Orthopedics, Neurosurgery with Pediatric Neurosurgery of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute arrived at the department of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics (RSPCTO), the Republic of Belarus, Ph.D. D.K. Tesakov.

During the visit, a meeting of a foreign specialist with the rector of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute, Professor B.Т. Daminov. The meeting discussed a number of issues of mutual interest, in particular, issues related to the development of cooperation in the training of highly qualified personnel in the direction of traumatology and orthopedics. Also, the meeting expressed wishes for the development and strengthening of cooperation on all issues of interest.

As a result of the negotiations held, prospects for further expansion of cooperation in the field of medical education were identified.

In addition, during the visit of a foreign specialist, it is planned to conduct demonstration operations for patients with scoliosis, give lectures, exchange experience with local doctors, hold seminars, hold master classes for masters, clinical interns and specialists in traumatology and orthopedics.
