The UN Commission on Broadband for Digital Development has published a report "The State of Broadband 2015".

The study of Uzbekistan took 130th place by penetration of fixed broadband Internet. Totally, there are 189 countries of the world in this list.

The report also states that access to the Internet have 43.6% of the population of the republic in the end of 2014 (in 2013 - 38.2%). In this regard, Uzbekistan ranks 93 among 191 countries in the world.

The survey is conducted every year jointly by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and UNESCO. The main goal is to develop the digital technology in the world.
