On May 9 in the city of Tashkent the festive salute will be organized

 The person, the nation and the people are living feeling of historical memory. Memory – the reminding past, manuals of our ancestors and national heritage – as beams of the sacred book lights our life. Honoring ennobles the person, gives nobility of his activity and promotes achievement of goals.

Honoring of memory of not broken will and heroic acts made by our ancestors who have devoted the life to business of all-round development and prosperity by our road of the Homeland, today's peace and quiet life of people, and also the senior generation which is among us from time immemorial is the value inherent in our generous and noble people living by the highest principle of humanity "we for the world and wellbeing".

The Resolution of the President Shavkat Mirziyoev "About measures for preparation and holding the actions devoted to Day of remembrance and Honours" became one more important document which serves as bright manifestation in our country of high respect and respect for veterans of war and work.

According to the document the program for preparation and holding the actions devoted to Day of remembrance and honors is approved. They will be held under the mottos "Kаhrаmоnlik, burch va fidoyilik" and "Ajdodlarni xotirlash – muqaddas qadriyat".

The document it is entrusted:

-to assign to each participant of World War II and the labor front, families of the military personnel and law enforcement officers who has died at execution of an office debt in days of independence of representatives of the ministries, departments, organizations, institutions, enterprises and military units and also to organize their heads visit of the places of residence of the specified category of persons for a celebration and a congratulation.

-to carry out measures for carrying out repair of housing and improvement of home farms to lonely and needy participants of World War II, and also the allocation which doesn't have from their number of own housing of the corresponding living space;

-to organize during preparation by Day of remembrance and Honours realization of a complex of actions of the spiritual and moral and patriotic directions for an explanation among a general population, especially youth, firmness, courage and heroism shown by veterans of war and the labor front of 1941-1945, and also military personnel and law enforcement officers who have died at execution of an office debt in days of independence;

-to carry out in a festive atmosphere delivery to participants and disabled people of World War II of 1941-1945 of a single reward on behalf of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

According to the resolution, the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Uzbekistan in honor of Day of remembrance and Honours at 21:00 o'clock on May 9, 2017 in the city of Tashkent will organize a festive salute.
