On May 14-15, 2018, the Republican Olympiad on the subject "Pediatrics" among students of medical universities was held at the Tashkent pediatric medical institute.

The Olympiad was attended by students of various courses and faculties from 9 medical colleges of the country:

- Tashkent medical academy;

- Urgench branch of the Tashkent medical academy;

- Ferghana branch of the Tashkent medical academy;

- Tashkent pediatric medical institute;

- Nukus branch of the Tashkent pediatric medical institute;

- Tashkent state dental institute;

- Andijan state medical institute;

- Bukhara state medical institute;

- Samarkand state medical institute. 

The Olympiad was held in 4 rounds, the results of the responses were evaluated by a competent jury.

Following the results of the Olympiad:

1 place was awarded to the student of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute - Kurbanova Muborakhon,

2 place - student of the Tashkent medical academy Nuriddinov Husniddin,

3 place - student of the Samarkand state medical institute Ruziev Amal-Khozhi.

Participants of the Olympiad, their leaders and guests highly appreciated the work of the organizing committee of the Olympiad and were delighted with the modern educational technologies created in the institute.
