So, within the framework of development of international mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of healthcare, on 29-31 May 2018 the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan including the rector of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute, MD, Professor Daminov B.T., Rector of the Tashkent Medical Academy, MD, prof. Tuychiev L.N., head of the International Relations Department of TashPMI Nurkhodzhaev S.N. and the head of the department of international relations of TMA Israilov J.D. visited the Republic of Tatarstan.

The purpose of the visit was to familiarize with the activities of medical institutions of higher education and specialized centers for simulation technologies in Kazan signing agreements on cooperation with medical higher educational institutions and specialized centers.

During the visit, the delegation visited a number of facilities, where it was acquainted with their activities.

An excursion was organized around the factory to the production of simulators, where a presentation was made about the company “Eidos-Medicine” LLC and “EIDOS-Robotics” and an Agreement on Cooperation was signed.

During the meeting, detailed information was provided on the company's activities and the strategy for the development of the medical simulation system, and also discussed the goals and objectives of the Uzbek delegation.

At the meeting, the sides expressed their wishes for the development and strengthening of cooperation on all issues of interest.

Also, the delegation was acquainted with the practical work of the simulation center at JSC "Regional Engineering Center of medical simulators" Center for Medical Science "" and the Educational center of high medical technologies - AMTEC KAZAN.

During the visit, a meeting with the administration of the Educational Center for High Medical Technologies - AMTEC KAZAN was held and organized an excursion to the center.

Also, the delegation visited the leading higher medical educational institutions and held a number of bilateral meetings with their administration: Kazan State Medical Academy - KSMA, Kazan Federal University - KFU and Kazan State Medical University - KSMU.

In addition, the rector of TashPMI visited the City Policlinic No. 21 in Kazan, where a meeting with the administration of the polyclinic was held and an excursion to the polyclinic was organized. 

According to the program of the visit, the rectors of the two leading medical universities in Uzbekistan met with the Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan, Adel Vafin, where they discussed the development of strategic partnership and cooperation in the field of healthcare.

This visit is of great practical importance for the successful implementation and coordination of joint projects in the field of healthcare, drawing up of curricula and programs corresponding to international standards for the training of highly qualified personnel, raising the level of professors and teachers and further training of students of domestic medical universities.
