The students of the direction "Higher Nursing" started their studies in the new 2018-2019 academic year on the improved Qualification Requirements and the curriculum, which focuses on the development of clinical thinking and the mastery of practical skills. Beginning with the 1st course, the study of clinical disciplines such as, Infection Control, Nursing, Nursing in Gerontology, Medical Psychology, etc. is foreseen. In addition, an improved program involves changing the way we look at methods for assessing knowledge and skills. Analysis and updating of typical and working programs of the referral and introduction of such WHO programs as Effective Perinatal Technologies, Basics of Neonatal Resuscitation, Monitoring of Growth and Development of Children, Breastfeeding, Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses, etc., were introduced into the educational process of the corresponding blocks of disciplines.
