December 28, 2018 in the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute held a republican conference on the theme "International cooperation and innovation - the basis for the reform of medical education".

The event was attended by professors and teachers of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute and representatives of the capital's higher educational institutions - the Tashkent Medical Academy, the Tashkent Institute of Advanced Medical Studies, Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute and the Tashkent State Dental Institute.

The event was opened with a welcoming speech by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute, Professor K.N. Khaitov. He noted that such events will contribute to solving actual problems and issues of medical education, improve the quality of education and the level of training of medical personnel in accordance with international standards.

The conference program included 10 reports that were presented by specialists from the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute.

Also, the conference reviewed and discussed a wide range of topical issues of medical education and the implementation of advanced innovative methods in the educational process with the use of international experience.

In addition, the collection of abstracts of the conference published more than ___ scientific papers on the solution of actual problems of medical education in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

This conference is aimed at finding innovative solutions and applying international experience in the process of reforming medical education in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The work of the conference is professionally useful and will increase the level of training of medical personnel and medical education in general.
