President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution "on measures to introduce modern information and communication technologies in the electoral process".

According to the decree, an information system for managing the electoral process and the use of a Single electronic voter list are being introduced in the electoral process throughout the country.

It is established that the formation of a Single electronic list of voters uses unified information about citizens-voters, addresses of their permanent and temporary residence in accordance with the information database of the Ministry of internal Affairs, the Unified register of real estate and the Unified register of addresses of real estate.

It is determined that the Central election Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan carries out the General management and coordination of activities for the implementation of the information system for the management of the electoral process and the use of a Single electronic list of voters in all regions of the country.

The state Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on land resources, geodesy, cartography and state cadastre is the body responsible for maintaining the Unified register of addresses of real estate objects and the Unified register of real estate objects.

SUP "Center for scientific, technical and marketing research" "UNICON.UZ" carries out work on the creation, further improvement and maintenance of the information management system of the electoral process, as well as ensures its effective and uninterrupted operation.

The Ministry of internal Affairs together with the Prosecutor General's office, the state tax Committee, the Ministry for the development of information technologies and communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Council of Ministers of the Republic of  Karakalpakstan, khokimiyats of regions and the city of Tashkent until April 1, 2019 instructed to ensure the full updating of information about the addresses of permanent and temporary residence of citizens, taking into account the binding of their passport data to the cadastral number of the property in the information database of the Ministry of internal Affairs by the bypass of citizens.
