In India, doctors were fined for bad handwriting.

The Supreme Court of Allahabad in the capital of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh Lucknow fined three medics for 5 thousand rupees (about 4.5 thousand rubles) for a bad handwriting. The court received three criminal cases, the results of the medical examination of the victims were received from district hospitals in Sitapur, Unnao and Gonda. All three reports were “impossible to read” due to the very bad handwriting of the medical doctors who wrote them out. According to the court, this was an obstacle to the work of the judiciary. Doctors claimed that they wrote illegible reports, as they were overworked with work.
