Since 10.29.2018, the Department of Hospital Pediatric Surgery of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute has begun using an electronic journal in educational activities.

Accounting of students' knowledge is one of the main directions in the activity of an educational institution and represents the ratio of the achieved results with the planned goals of education. Much depends on its proper organization: the effectiveness of the management of the educational process; the quality of training a graduate of the university.

At the present stage, along with traditional forms of knowledge control, the innovative form as an electronic form of knowledge accounting through an electronic journal is becoming increasingly important. This form will be widely distributed and prove its advantage over the traditional.

This direction - the use of an electronic journal - is the current direction, allowing you to fill out an electronic journal that is available for viewing on a computer and allows you to see the progress of students of any group in any discipline.

The advantages of using electronic journal:

• information about students’s missed classes;
• monitor student performance using an electronic diary, which lists all grades.
