Associate professor Rumi S. S. fulfilling the duties from 1982 to 1984 was appointed the first head of department. The department was called as a film photo as laboratory at a teaching department. With 1984 to the present department Khakimov Abdugani Abdurasulovich directs. From 1989 to 2011 the department was called as department of TCO. C 2011 of year to the present department by order of MINVUZA is renamed into department of technical providing. From the very beginning of the activity the department renders services in introduction of educational technical means of training and the software for chairs and institute divisions. The department is provided today with the latest computer technologies.
