October 12, 2016, Tashkent pediatric medical institute was organized an event aimed at propaganda of the essence of the law of the state youth policy.
The event was attended by associate Professor, Tashkent state University of law (TSUL) F.Мukhitdinova and made a presentation about the meaning of the Law on state youth policy.
Under the state youth policy in the law understood as a system of socio-economic, organizational and legal measures undertaken by the government and aimed at creation of conditions for social formation and development of intellectual, creative and other potential of the youth.
The law uses the concept of young people (aged 14-30 years), young family, young professional and youth entrepreneurship.
The basic principles of the state youth policy established openness and transparency, participation of youth in realization of state youth policy, support and promotion of youth initiatives, the priority of spiritual, moral and cultural values and prevent discrimination against young people.
The law defines the main directions of the state youth policy of Uzbekistan:
• ensuring the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of youth;
• protection of life and health of youth;
• promote the spiritual, intellectual, physical and moral development of youth;
• provision for young people accessible and quality education;
• creation of conditions for employment and youth employment;
• education of youth in spirit of patriotism, citizenship, tolerance, respect for the laws, national and universal values, able to withstand the harmful influences and currents, with strong convictions and views on life;
• protecting young people from acts that lead to the undermining of the moral foundations, the ideas of terrorism and religious extremism, separatism, fundamentalism, cult of violence and cruelty;
• increasing the level of legal consciousness and legal culture of youth;
• support and encourage gifted and talented youth;
• creation of conditions for development of youth entrepreneurship;
• the formation of the youth the desire for a healthy lifestyle and creating conditions for the organization of substantial leisure of youth and mass development of youth sport;
• implementation of a comprehensive system of measures for moral and material support of young families, providing them with decent housing and social conditions;
• development of cooperation with international organizations operating in the sphere of implementation of the rights and freedoms of young people.
The law stipulates the guarantee of rights and freedoms, as well as social protection of youth, questions of state support of gifted and talented young people, youth entrepreneurship.
The document States that the purpose of social protection of youth and young families in Uzbekistan created a social service for youth.
