Summary report of Asomov Muzaffar Ilhomjon o'g'li on mobility program internship at the University of Pisa on the specialty "Cardiology" from 11.04 to 10.07.2018y.
In the first week of stay in the Pisa city, met with Laura Burgisano (coordinator of the KA107Credit mobility program) at the office of the International Programs for Cooperation, Education and Mobility Unit, discussed a plan for further action at the University of Pisa and signed the necessary documents.
13.04. I met Professor Gianfranco Natale (coordinator of medical projects) at the Faculty of Anatomy of the University of Pisa. Professor acquainted with the history of the Department of Anatomy of the University of Pisa, showed the works of famous university students, showed the museum of anatomy and conducted an excursion.
13.04. I met with my manager Prof. Ferdinando Franzoni (Vice head of Department of Clinical and Experimental Medicine), with Professor Fabio Galetta (Head of Department of Clinical and Experimental Medicine, Sports Medicine Unit). I got acquainted with the structure of the hospital of Santa Chiara in the city of Pisa, discussed scientific activities and plans for the implementation of research work.
Dr. Veronique Santini (a doctor in the outpatient department) introduced the work with patients in the outpatient clinic, the technique and technique of ultrasound of brachiocephalic vessels.
Starting from the 2nd week, every morning at 9:00 am the working day in the hospital of Santa Chiara started with a meeting with the coordinator Prof. Ferdinando Franzoni. Every day I examined patients on the topic of my research work together with various doctors from the Santa Chiari hospital departments, such as: Prof. F.Galetta (Head of Clinical and Experimental Medicine, Sports Medicine Unit) E.Cerri (doctor in the department of Open Access Cardiology), Dr. V.Santini (doctor in outpatient department of ultrasound of vessels), Dr.S. R.Banducci (doctor in the department of Stress ECG), Dr. A.Petrocchi (doctor in the department of ultrasound of the heart), Dr. J.Fusi (doctor of biology).
Every day I examined patients in outpatient department, diagnostics, Cardiology, and the Nuclear Department. Collected data for my research work, was engaged in the analysis of literature.
20.04. Together with Dr. Jonathan Fusi was at the University Center of Sports for a test to assess the cardiopulmonary adaptation mechanism in 3 volunteers. According to the early developed program Dr. J.Fusi investigated were evaluated for physical activity for 9 exercises with rest periods. Exercises consisted of warm up, bench press, lifting dumbbells, pull ups, stretching.
12.05. I took part in the Congress of Cardiologists of Italy, devoted to the topic "Una nuova strategia miratta alla riduzione degli eventi cardiovascolari: l'inibizione della proproteina convertasi Subtillisina / Kexina Tipo 9 (PCSK9)" in Firenza, in which famous cardiologists from all over Italy presented reports .
31.05. At 11:00 a meeting of Erasmus + KA 107 students was held, where I met with all international students, where we exchanged experience, impressions about our stay and experience of working and studying at the University of Pisa.
19.06. I took part at the Dr.Antonio Rizza seminar on the topic "Carotid Artery Stenosis" and the professor of the Warsaw University Dr. Tomasz Mazurek "Interventional Treatment in Cardiology". At this seminar, we analyzed the problems associated with stenosis of the carotid artery and invasive methods of treatment in cardiac practice. Both professors shared their experience from their practice.
20.06. Together with Dr. E.Cerri started examining patients in the Nuclear medicine department, which is a new direction for our medicine: 1. The patient is 51 years old. 2. The patient is 68 years old. 3. The patient is 60 years old. 4. The patient is 53 years old. All patients were removed the initial ECG, blood pressure and pulse were measured. Then the patient performed physical exercise on the stationary bike. At the peak of physical activity, the patients were injected with the isotope Technetium. Blood pressure, pulse and ECG were monitored. The patients were given yogurt and water. After 40 minutes, the patients were tested by PET.
26.06. I was at the seminar of Professor Umberto Conti devoted to the problem of "Insufficiensa mitralica". At this seminar, the professor outlined the problems of early diagnosis and methods of surgical treatment of mitral insufficiency.
09.07. I met with the head of Prof. Ferdinando Franzoni. We discussed the work done together, outlined plans for further work on our research work, and I was offered a further continuation of cooperation on the topic of my research work at the University of Pisa.
