The President of Uzbekistan signed a decree on the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Sharaf Rashidov.

The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoev, on 27 March signed a decree "On celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding statesman and writer Sharaf Rashidov".

As noted in the document, the decision was made in order to "exalt the blessed memory and worthy of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the prominent statesman, famous writer Sharaf Rashidov, who headed our country in extremely difficult and hard years, worked selflessly in the name of development, their social and creative activity contributed to the development of national literature and culture."

Informed by the resolution of the Senate of Oliy Majlis the name of Sharaf Rashidov (6 November 1917 - 31 October 1983) was awarded the Jizzakh district, Jizzakh region. The document provides for the establishment of Sharaf-Releascom the area of the memorial complex of Sharaf Rashidov and the establishment of the monument.

For public review of the people, especially the younger generation, with the life and work of Sharaf Rashidov in Jizzakh will be opened memorial house-Museum. In the first decade of July in Jizzakh and Tashkent will be held the evening of memory, devoted to the 100 anniversary from the birthday of Sharaf Rashidov.

Planned the publication of "favorites" and the writer of the book of memory "is an Outstanding son of our people", as well as the creation of a documentary film about the life and public creative activity of Sharaf Rashidov.

Will be a scientific conference "the Role of Sharaf Rashidov in Uzbekistan's history". The event, dedicated to the memory of Sharaf Rashidov Avenue, will be held in higher, secondary special, vocational and General secondary educational institutions, military units, labor groups and mahallas of the country.
