Recent research projects

Since 2012 until now, in TashPMI and its Nukus filial there have been conducted researches on 15 scientific and technical programs of fundamental (1), applied (13) and innovative (1) scientific projects aimed at solving the most important scientific and technological problems of medical science and technology in accordance with the priority areas of science and technology.

 Main directions of research projects for the period of 2012-2014

Main researches in TashPMI сoincide with the priorities of researches of science and technology of the Republic of Uzbekistan and include the following tasks:

• To develop methods for early diagnosis of diseases of lungs and respiratory system in infants, children and adolescents;
• To develop new treatments for diseases of cardiovascular system in infants, children and adolescents;
• To develop new treatments for diseases of liver and congenital diseases of biliary tract in infants, children and adolescents;
• To invent new, local pharmaceutical preparations for the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases, to prove their advantages over foreign drugs and economic advantages, as well as to transfer for clinical validation;
• To develop sanitary-hygeinic indicators in pupils and preschool children, to test these indicators in institutions and to make appropriate indicators of nutrition, as well as to study micronutrients in food composition;
• To develop measures that will improve the quality of life in infants, children and adolescents.
