"No matter how difficult and difficult it is, we must introduce the mechanisms of a real market economy", President Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, speaking on December 7 at a solemn meeting dedicated to the 26th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of Uzbekistan, said that the country will resolutely continue the initiated reforms.

"If we want to build a really strong economy in our country, to live as richly and safely as the peoples of the developed countries of the world, we, no matter how difficult and difficult it may be, are obliged to introduce the mechanisms of a real market economy, and do it not formally, somehow, but deeply thought out. This is the only way. There is no alternative. We will resolutely continue the initiated reforms, and they will definitely give a positive result," the head of state said.

"In order to live well, it is necessary first of all to work hard, not only to enjoy rights and freedoms, but also to feel deeply responsible," the President said.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev stressed that the focus of reforms will continue to support the desire of young people to acquire knowledge, entrepreneurial initiatives and cooperation with foreign countries.

"An educated and enlightened generation is the basis of our great future, an enterprising people is the basis of a prosperous life, cooperation in the spirit of friendship is the basis of prosperity," the head of the country said.
